Founded in 2010, our original and continued mission is to makes the grooming process as stress-free as possible for both you and your pup, while providing the highest quality service and one-of-a-kind primping experience.
Our dog grooming salon is an open concept salon.
Everything from the bathing to the scissoring can be seen from the outside.
MEET THE TEAM
Kim
Primp My Paws Owner, Kim, has always been an animal lover and her two shihtzus, Rocco and Lola, inspired her to delve into the world of dog grooming. The patience and artistry of grooming came naturally to her. And, after completing courses and grooming at home, she opened Primp My Paws in Maspeth, Queens in 2010. After moving to Westchester, she relocated the salon to it's current location in Dobbs Ferry in 2015.
Kim is Certified for Salon Safety through the AKC (American Kennel Club).
Olivia
Olivia started working for Primp My Paws in 2021 as a grooming assistant and has quickly risen to junior pet stylist. Olivia's fast learning is a testament to her natural talent as a groomer. Her previous volunteer and work experiences at the SPCA and dog daycares provided her with proper animal care and handling techniques.
Olivia has vet tech training and is certified in canine CPR.
